This fruity peach tea is incredibly yummy! The perfect tea for a hot afternoon - the peach fragrance that instantly tickles your nose as soon as you open the bag gives you the impression that the tea may be a tad too sweet for those of us rich black tea drinkers. However, it's surprisingly refreshing though if you add sugar to it even just a little bit then I am afraid it may be too overpowering.
This White Peach loose leaf by Adagio Teas is a quick drink - I found myself not sipping but taking longer swigs. I made this just under the recommended 180 degrees but I can definitely see adding a couple of sliced strawberries and a few large ice cubes and having a delicious cold brew.
This loose leaf white tea is a blend of white tea, apricots, natural peach flavors and marigold flowers.
The recommended steep time for this tea is 3-5 minutes at 180 degrees. Be careful and do not burn your leaves or else you will get a weird bitter taste. I under boiled my water by about 5 degrees just to make sure because I wasn't sure how delicate the leaves would be but the flavor was still incredible.
It's yummy but I really have to be in the mood for sweet teas like this one.
I rate this tea 3.5 out of 5 stars.
