Organic silver needle is one of the most sought after white teas, famous for it's light and dainty flavor with subtle sweetness. White teas are extremely pure and healthy and offer a delicious earthy taste.
Some may find white teas bland or lacking flavor but if you can truly appreciate the delicate fragrances and sweet but subtle sips then you will enjoy this tea. When making this tea, you must be very careful to not burn the leaves. Proper water temperature is crucial for this tea or else you end up with a bitter flavor.
The recommended measurement per cup is 1.5 tsp steeped at 180 degrees. (I would recommend steeping slightly cooler just to be sure the flavor is not compromised as some percolators fluctuate up and down.)
Let leaves steep for up to 4 minutes and enjoy!
Also, be sure to take a nice whiff of the leaves fresh in the can - it's truly delightful. They should make candles that smell like that fresh grass sweetness.
The flavor is good and I enjoy a nice cup every now and then but it's not my favorite. Still very delicious - I just tend to drink it occasionally.
I rate this tea 3.5 out of 5 stars.
