When I first opened my December Birchbox, I was fairly miffed by the size of this sample. I thought to myself, "Really? Why bother? This thing is smaller than my pinky." (I have baby hands, too.) That said, I read the little paper on the product and after seeing it was known for its super deep moisturizing power, I gave it a try.
I tried the Yu-Be Moisturizing Skin Cream on my worst, driest, scaliest area...my heels. The bottom and back of my heels are nasty - like dry and scaly and constantly in need of a pedi-egg and lots of lotion. Ask my husband, he graciously rubs my feet and deals with my dry flaky funk regularly.
I love him more than life.
Onward! It worked - really, really worked! I let it set on my heels overnight with socks and saw a softer pad of skin in the morning. Not completely moisturized but a noticeable difference. I had enough to try the lotion one more night, so I did it again. It was making a difference. Then the tube was empty. Bummer.
Overall, this moisturizer is great but I wish I had been able to have a larger sample size. It's $16 for 1.25 oz tube. Expensive. I won't be purchasing it - I'll stick with my pedi-egg and various lotions from Walgreen's.
