Well, I have been busy at work in my little yard. I wanted to put a little dash of my tea love into the area so I went out flea marketing and found this really cute teapot that was missing a lid for only 50 cents! ![]() I didn't even realize how neat a teapot planter would be - the spout collects water and delivers into the middle of the soil which helps with watering. Plus, it just looks really really cute! I planted Celosia into my planter and cannot wait to stumble upon another little teapot that's missing it's lid to add it to my collection! Did you know you can also used your used tea leaves to help enrich your garden soil? Yep. You can create a compost or you can just scatter your used leaves on top of the ground just below your acidic loving plants. Avoid chai tea leaves as you might get some mixed results. This article was helpful to me in learning about tea leaf composts. ![]() I also scrounged around my tea cupboard to find some tins that I could convert into planters and found this cute little guy! I love the Keep Calm meme and got this tea from TJ Maxx at some point. It made for the perfect planter for my succulent. I'm hoping to do some fun tea cup citronella candles in the future. I think they would be neat to have on the patio bar. You can check out some of my other cute tea ideas here.
